About Us
Before I found out about building corporate credit, I ran a real estate business using my personal credit, like most other small businesses. When I maxed out my credit cards to repair homes and make upgrades, my FICO scores went down and I wasn't able to refinance properties to pull cash out.
Therefore I had to borrow money from friends to pay down the balances on my credit cards to get my personal scores high enough to refinance. On top of that hassle, these new card balances don't update over night so you have to wait sometimes 2 months or more. Needless to say time is not your friend in the Real Estate business. Using my personal credit for business was a nightmare and I felt there had to be a better way.
I had heard about business credit but it was a mystery, and no matter what I read I was still skeptical that banks would ever really extend credit without using a Social Security Number. However I trudged along and did my research and learned the hard way what not to do and which banks would never extend credit with out a social security number. After extensive searching, I found a few creditors that would extend credit based solely on a corporation's credit history.
This is when I realized that there were other banks out there that would do the same but that Building Business credit was an up hill battle. You literally have to fight to get business credit without using your social security number or signing a personal guarantee.
I really felt strongly that other business should have the advantage of raising capital without having to risk their personal credit or everything they personally own. This is when I decided to began helping other people learn from my mistakes and get the capital they need to grow their businesses without risking their own 'necks'.
With correctly established business credit you won't get personal inquiries when you apply for credit, business credit won't show up on you personal credit scores and if you happen to miss a payment here or there, business creditors usually don't report a slow pay until after 60 days - and even that doesn't show up on your personal report! Frankly, business credit is a whole different universe that RMS would like to introduce you to.
